05.25.2016 Hi everyone! I just want to share today one of my main lifts • The DEADLIFT • to build strength and my physique. It's not a new exercise to most of us but to get the most out of this lift, here are a few tips: 1️⃣ Keep chest forward and shoulders back(don't let your shoulders drop. Also engage your Lats and Triceps/Arms for better grip strength) 2️⃣ Back should never be rounded(think straight/flat back and hold it in position at all times) 3️⃣ When coming down and up, do not jerk the bar up to come up, keep the momentum going in one smooth action. 4️⃣ Keep the knees fixed or micro bend throughout the movement(If you bend your knees too much, you will disengage your hamstring) 5️⃣ Finally, Think STRONG, Keep you body nice and tight, every muscle engaged and bring your visualization to your posterior chain of you body.
