Great hammies and glutes session by my client @sarahlouisec90 The first phase of sarah's programme started with a dumbbell sumo deadlift, to get the correct technique and ensuring she was contracting her glutes. Now she is getting stronger she has moved to barbell sumo deadlifts and her weights are increasing weekly meaning more muscle tissue development (bigger glutes!!) Really great exercise for working the glute medius. (this exercise is a lot more effective for glute development than kick backs!!) finishing off with 3 sets of rope pull throughs, driving her hips back and then driving her hips forward and contracting her glutes at the top of the movement. . . . . .
