HIIT has been proven to burn more calories and fat during/after a workout, therefore you're burning more calories and fat for the rest of the day. BUT really what it comes down too, is what your goal is! If your primary focus is weight loss fasted cardio has numerous fat burning benefits and is quite effective in that area.
