Extra proud to be Mancunian today. I live in the City centre and the way the community has come together, members of the public offering shelter in their homes for anyone stranded, Taxis offering free lifts home, people bringing food, coffees, teas for the amazing emergency services working hard, people getting out of their beds to drive down and offer lifts to wherever people may need. In the face of something truly awful Manchester has come together to show our spirit. My thoughts go out to the poor people that have lost their lives, been injured or have been affected by this in any way. Xx
