Informative Monday! So last week in my Instagram story I posted how I was drinking apple cider vinegar and not kidding at least 12 people asked me about it. So here's why: Health benefits of apple cider vinegar: First: what is it? Apples are cut into chunks and mixed into vinegar. Later the chunks are taken out and the vinegar is left to ferment. Good bacteria begins to grow and it creates acetic acid. That is your friend. Health benefits: (there are more than listed but I am only listed the ones I have done research on and are backed by science). 1. Heart health: studies in the past have show a decrease in high blood pressure and cholesterol. 2. Sugar levels: helps lower glucose levels.and regulate blood sugar levels (crucial for weight loss) 3. Weight loss: as a causation from the lower blood sugar it will help with cravings. Remember this isn't a magic potion! You still have to put in the work. 4. Stops hiccups: I don't know but I have a pretty gnarly hiccup.. it scares the room as a sound like a toad 😂 so I found this intriguing. Someone actually made lollipops that contained Acv and sugar to control hiccups 😳 5. Heart burn and stomach ache: Heart burn is caused by acidity in your stomach. Although acv is acidic, in your stomach it balances the ph levels. 6. Hair health: can clean out hair follicles and balancing your ph level strengthens your hair!
